Bath Birth Clothing

When you like it in the bath, it's up to you whether you like something and what attracts you. We have listed a few points for you, so you can take them into account when making your choice.

1

Temperature

Anything of your body that's underwater won't feel cold easily. What is above water could be experienced as fresh, because of the difference with the water temperature. You can therefore choose to put on a top piece. At a normal room temperature in a draught-free environment this does not have to be an issue.

Visual material

If photos and/or videos are made, it may be nice for you to put on a top/bh/shirt. So your intimate photos are a bit more discreet and perhaps more suitable to show to friends or family.

Outside the bath

During childbirth, you may go out of the bath in between. You can read more about this on the page how water delivery goes. Towels and a bathrobe will keep you warm. If you spend part of your childbirth in bed, it may be nice for you to put on a top piece to keep you warm. Once the baby is born, it is very nice for you and the baby to lay it on your bare chest.

Underpants or bikini bottoms

The midwife can perform an internal examination during the delivery to check your progress. If you are wearing underpants or bikini bottoms during childbirth, you will have to take them off and put them on every time. You can't wear pants during the exorcism.

Feeling

The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and can fully relax in the bath. Do you feel more free without clothing or not, then make your choice.
